Job Description

​

Experienced Custodian needed full time in Gainesville, VA to starting immediately for luxury apartments.

Custodian duties include, but are not limited to:

​

- Dusts, mops, vacuums, empties trash, wipe tables and cleans glass doors daily. Cleans windows and blinds as needed.

​

- Checks paper supplies, empties trash and cleans mirrors on a daily basis in the public restrooms. Cleaning and disinfecting should be done twice weekly along with the floors and fixtures or more frequently if needed.

- Trash carts in all buildings are to be dumped daily. Must be able to lift >70lbs. Trash rooms are to be cleaned and disinfected twice weekly or more often if needed.

- In the public areas, vacuums, dusts and sweeps stairway, halls, laundry rooms and lobbies every other day. Shampoos carpet as needed, approximately every one - three months. Cleans entrance glass daily. Dust and damp clean washers and dryers daily. Checks dryer lint traps daily. Empties laundry room trash daily. Building light fixtures should be dusted and emptied of insects, etc. once a month. The following should be cleaned as needed: all ashtrays, mailbox fronts, elevator doors, and all other doors.
